Privacy Policy

This explains what we collect when you use Brytelink and what we do with it. We handle personal data in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
What we collect
- Agents: full name, username, email, phone number, password (stored only as a one-way hash), wallet and order history, and the details of any store you set up.
- Store customers: the phone number that receives the bundle, your name if you give it, and the payment reference and amount.
- AFA registrations: full name, phone number and Ghana Card number, only to process that registration.
- Technical data: IP address and browser type for sign-in security, and a cookie that keeps you signed in.
How we use it
- To deliver bundles, run wallets and process payments and refunds.
- To keep accounts safe, stop fraud and investigate reports.
- To contact you about an order, a report or your account.
We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
- Paystack processes card and mobile money payments. We never see or store your card number.
- Network supply partners receive the phone number and bundle needed to deliver an order.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is HttpOnly and is not used for advertising. Customers of a store may also have a theme preference saved in their own browser.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for as long as needed for accounting, disputes and the law. You can ask us to close your account; records we must keep are kept.
Security
Passwords are hashed, sessions are protected, sign-in attempts are limited, wallet movements are recorded in a protected history, and the connection is encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and never share it.
